about Arya Foods

TASTE that defineS

In the year 1993 on the day of March 20th the Journey started. The driving force behind the journey was Mr. Joseph Mathew a rice merchant based in the famous market of Athirampuzha in Kottayam District . He had a vision of giving high quality Breakfast food to the people at an affordable rate. A major chunk of people in Kerala depended on Rice Puttu a tastier and easy to cook recipe in breakfast. Lot Depended on Appam/Idiyappam also for Breakfast. So he founded CROWN FLOUR MILLS a proprietary concern, a rice powdering facility in a small space inside his house. He branded his product as “ARYA”. His beloved wife Mrs. Leelama Joseph was the driving force. This created job opportunities for people in and around Athirampuzha. This continued and his children also got involved in the business. Slowly and steadily the company began to grow with the help of his Wife and Children. This continued till his sad demise on August 28 2017. After his death, being a proprietary firm, Crown Flour Mills, had to be closed down and a new partnership firm was founded.
